Physics is the branch of science dealing with universal laws,theoretical and experimental results.
Physics contain laws which are governed by mathematics,the idea of expressing laws of physics with mathematics was dated to 1600's in Isaac newton's period.One of the earliest laws to be given mathematical shape was basic and famous law of gravitation and mathematically speaking it states that everything in this universe attracts everything with a force which is directly proportional to the product of masses of two bodies and inversely proportional to the square of distance between them.Legends say this was formulated due to apple fell on newton's head.
Let mass of body A be m and mass of body B be M,then we have if distance between them is x,then force of gravitation between them is as follows:-
F=Mm/x.x newton
It is a S.I. unit ,it has a C.G.S unit as well.
It has a dimensional formula as well.
Most of the physics is based on conservation laws
Law of conservation of charge
Law of conservation of linear momentum
Law of conservation of angular momentum
Law of conservation of mass
Law of conservation of energy
Law of conservation of mass and energy,both are interconvertible.
