Mathematics is a discipline which influences major as well as minor area's of physics.Mathematics can be applied in physics,chemistry,biology,etc.It is involved in our day to day lifes.Mathematical ideas started ancient,but grew into very modern idea's.Mathematics is involved in construction,River boat speed,velocity of airplane's wing,Velocity of a falling asteroid,etc.Mathematics can be complex because of it's abstract nature.

It's amazing that abstract discipline is beneficial in interacting disciplines.

Mathematics is the foundation of modern physics as well as quantum mechanics like famous schrodingers wave equation is all about principles of mathematics.The ideas of mathematics can merge together to give raise to new ideas.

Mathematics is used in validity of laws of physics.Many laws of physics are described mathematically.

Mathematics has many practical applicationa like applications of trigonometry,this branch is useful for measuring heights of mountains,distance between two banks of a river,etc.

Mathematics has many branches and sub areas.

One of the most important is calculus which comprises many things such as integral calculus,differential calculus,limits,application of derivatives,application of integrals,Types of integrals,Vector calculus.

Now integral calculus is firther divided into definite and indefinite integrals,difference between the two being of limits.

One is evaluated using limits which are upper limit and lower limit,which is definite,while in indefinite there is no limits such as upper limit and lower limit.
